This English Tourist Board 4 Star Quality Graded park is open from 1st March to 15th November each year; it has 80 pitches for static caravan holiday homes and 20 touring caravan pitches, all with electric hook up. There are toilet and shower facilities for use by the touring customers plus a launderette. Calor gas is sold on the park and there is a grassed play area with 4 swings, (ball games are not permitted on the park).

With its grand Victorian houses, wide cobbled streets and fine seaward vista, Silloth is a delightful destination. The seafront promenade which leads to Silloth is just 250m away from the park. The Solway Plain is level so it is ideal for cyclists who can follow the Cumbria Cycle Way. Nearby the Solway Marshes are noted for rare plant, bird and animal life and the coast near Silloth has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). The Solway Coast is also a popular location for bird watching, particularly seabirds and migratory birds.

In Silloth there are swimming pools, tennis courts, a Sunday Market, the Solway Coast Discovery Centre and a children’s playground. There is also a putting green and fun fair, both situated on ‘The Green’ plus a large open grassed recreational area where frequent festivals and events take place. The west of the town has a sandy beach, which stretches for approximately 12 miles and is about 2 miles from the park. Also close to the town is Silloth-on-Solway golf course, an 18-hole natural links championship golf course that is open all year round.
