| Seacote Caravan Park
is a family run caravan holiday home and touring park located
on the outskirts of Silloth on Solway owned by Broughton Farm
Caravans Ltd.
With its grand Victorian houses, wide, cobbled streets and
fine seaward vista, Silloth offers the opportunity for a relaxing,
and a get away from it all break. All the caravans on the
park are privately owned and used by owners and their families
to enjoy the peace and quiet of the North Cumbrian coast and
the Lake District.

The park is open from 1st March to 15th November each year,
has 80 pitches for caravan holiday homes and 20 touring pitches,
all with electric hook up and has a quality grading of 4 stars
by the English Tourist Board. There are toilet and shower
facilities for use by the touring customers plus a launderette
and payphone. Calor gas is sold on the park and there is a
grassed play area with 4 swings, however ball games are not
permitted on the park.
250m away from the park is the seafront promenade with leads
to Silloth. The Solway Plain is level so it is ideal for cyclists
who can follow the Cumbria Cycle Way. Nearby the Solway Marches
are noted for rare plant, bird and animal life and the coast
near Silloth has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty (ANOB). The Solway Coast is also a popular location
for birdwatching, particularly seabirds and migratory birds.
In Silloth there are swimming pools, tennis courts, Sunday
Market, Solway Coast Discovery Centre and a children’s
playground. There is also a putting green and fun fair, both
situated on ‘The Green’ plus a large open grassed
recreational area where frequent festivals and events take
place. (See links page for further
details.)
The west of the town has a sandy beach which stretches for
approximately 12 miles and is about 2 miles from the park.
Also close to the town is Silloth-on-Solway golf course, an
18 hole natural links championship golf course which is open
all year round. Guests can play if they are a member of a
recognized golf club.
Seacote Caravan Park is simply a great location for walking,
relaxing, or exploring North Cumbria and the Lake District.
